Good basic book that will help pass the radio course. Many questions that might be on the test are in the book but no where near the 300 or 400 that go on the test. I was hoping it would cover the test question that will be asked so I could study those. It would get a 5 if there wasn't so much superfluous conversation between the radio people for no reason. Those who already chit chat probably liked it but found it a turn off.
At first it looked as though my Playmobil terrorist cell was going have trouble getting through this security system - no naked flames, sharp objects, guns or bombs. Then I bought the Tobacco Lobbyist upgrade pack which allowed cigarette lighters to be carried through so they simply torched the plane instead. Hours of fun for all the family.
I loved this when I first got it- worked wonderfully. Then the Call-Phone feature stopped working. Then all of them (I had 6) stopped working- totally- not one beep, chirp or blink. I tried contacting TrackR. It is impossible to obtain any sort of customer service. The website makes it very difficult to communicate and then I received no response. Was sent a message that it might take 24 hours to get a return call or message. That was on a Sunday afternoon. Five days later and many attempts to reach them and still nothing. This is an expensive trinket. Very disappointed after initial enthusiasm. When it worked I loved it but for only two months of use it was a waste of money.
I'm age 75 and worked in a factory in Statham, GA making pants for the military. I got use to a high speed machine and the Singer 4423 machine is the fastest home machine I could buy. I received it on September 10, 2014 but did not set it up and thoroughly test it until Sept. 13th. I put this machine through every feature it had on it, running it at the highest speed on all stitches. It never slipped a single stitch and worked perfectly. I also had a yard of tapestry fabric, that was not yet stiffened and blocked. I used that for the tests.
Our new CPA recommended that we start keeping our records in QuickBooks. The copy that I had was 2008 (I was not able to get it to work, but the CPA said she could help), but it was recommended that I get the 2011 version. I was quite surprised by the 3 star rating and even more surprised to find that there were almost as many 1 stars as 5 stars. So I decided to read the complaints by the 1 stars, and quickly changed my mind on using QuickBooks. I was extremely mad when Intuit required that I upgrade my 2008 Quicken to 2011 just to be able to down load financial transactions. This is also a popular complaint on QuickBooks. An Intuit employee tried to justify it as necessary for software testing. I have also been in software testing and product support, and basically that is a totally lame excuse. They can simply say that the older versions simply are not supported, but it is just a plain strong arm tactic to force upgrades when you turn off the feature. HP did something similar on their inkjet printers when they put date code electronics in their cartridges to force you to replace them on a regular basis even if they are still full of ink. I also do not buy HP printers.
It's hard to tell if this made any difference for the behavior of my cats, but I want to write a review to talk about the leaking diffuser. I've had it for about a month and it's covered in oil and leaking onto the wall. I only noticed this because of the burning plastic smell which alerted me to look closer and unplug.
