If you are upgrading, honestly, don't unless you absolutely have to because of OS compatibility. An upgrade should be an improvement, but this is simply not. I "upgraded" from Finale 2010 and can say that it was truly a waste of money. Finale/MakeMusic, are you listening? YOU DIDN'T FIX THE THINGS THAT REALLY NEED FIXING. I feel like hostage, the same way I feel about Quicken and its "upgrades."
thanks so much! saved me a lot of money and helped lots! book is in great condition, wouldn't be surprised if it was new!
Bought this after returning the Wii version which required a controller. However this also requires a controller and I am at a loss as to why I should have to buy a controller since I expected the use of the phone to do the job. Why should something like this should be made for the Wii U and still require you to go backwards in terms of technology? It is definitely misleading to sell this product to fool users into believing that it is for the Wii U so please buy ONLY if you already have a controller.
Warren's letters provide great insight into the development and philosophy of his and Charlie Munger's investment style. No ghost or staff writer's here; just pure Warren. Great stuff and a good primer to a winning approach to investing - i.e. buy good companies with outstanding managers to hold forever.
I can't say I will use this again as a detangler as it didn't seem to do much to help me detangle my curls. I recommend
Now, this blaster is basically a Jolt, which means about 30 feet flat and up to 50 feet angled, which is very impressive. It's easy to prime and is not much larger and bulkier than a Jolt, so it'll still fit in a medium-sized pocket. It's not very accurate, but then again, neither is the Jolt, and to reiterate, this is basically a Jolt. But with the ability to fire three darts in a row, meaning prime, fire, prime, fire, prime, fire, not prime, fire fire fire, or prime, fire a rain of darts, this is a pretty cool gun. If you liked the Jolt, you'll love this. But my main gripe is that the trigger takes quite a bit of force to pull, unlike the Longstrike, which had probably the easiest firing trigger ever on a Nerf gun. But the Triad's trigger takes a disturbing amount of force to pull, and thus is a bit uncomfortable for puny people like me. Also, the sound when the trigger is pulled is very loud and clunky-sounding, which to me is odd, because this isn't a shotgun-style blaster; it's doing the exact same thing as a Jolt, and thus should sound like a Jolt. But it doesn't. Also, my Triad was predominantly white, not blue, which is a bummer, because I personally liked the blue better.
There are a lot of things I liked about this book. For starters, it is written pretty coherently, and generally does not get too wordy. With the topic it is covering this is a feat in and of itself. The color schemes they use throughout the book to separate different examples, figures, etc further makes the book accessible.
