    For the cost this is great! I'd only wish that the safety bars were a bit longer. Set up wasn't horrible.

    It's difficult to know if it's working or not. You don't see any immediate results and I'm not very motivated to keep using it, so who knows? It's a very subjective thing and that's why I just gave it 3 stars.

  • Qwagmire - Not a replacement for free weight squats, but a great alternative.

    Look the bottom line is that there is no equal replacement to free weight squatting. Period. If one were to frequent the weight training forums, one would see a heavy bias against any "machine based" squats. I think that this bias is quite short sighted; there are a great many people who aren't trying to be powerlifters or weightlifters that will find this machine to be quite satisfactory.
